Just a reminder that the consultation paper for the Junior Cert Art reform is available on the NCCA website, http://www.ncca.ie this paper closes on the end of September. Our NCCA Junior Cert representative will present the thoughts of the ATAI to the NCCA on the matter when they next meet. To ensure that your opinion is included, there will be an opportunity to discuss the paper at the upcoming AGM, which will take place in IMMA Saturday the 19th September 2pm- 4p.30pm. Members attending please email atai.president@gmail.com.
As the ATAI is the only subject representative group for art, it is vital that we express the opinions of as many art teachers as possible.
Also a reminder that tickets for our annual conference are now on sale through our website. www.arttteachers.ie. Reserve your place now, for what we hope will be a diverse and extremely enjoyable conference. Don’t forget to include your pupils work in the pupil’s exhibition.
