I am writing to invite you to a consultation event that the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) is convening on Friday, October 13th 2017. The purpose of the meeting is to gather views from interested parties on the Background Paper and Brief for Leaving Certificate Art.
The meeting will take place in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate Street, Dublin 8 (beside Heuston Station) and will run from 11:00 – 15:00.
Registration will begin at 10:30 and tea/coffee and scones will be available from 10:30 – 11:00.
There will be a break for lunch at 13:00.
The consultation will take the form of a workshop. You are asked to read the background paper and brief in preparation for the consultation event. You can download a copy of this document from our our website by clicking here.
If, for some reason you are unable to attend, we would appreciate if you can pass this invitation on to an interested colleague. You might also consider taking time to respond to the consultation survey online available here.
Please RSVP to fred.boss@ncca.ie as soon as possible but no later than Wednesday, 27th September so as to accommodate booking and catering arrangements.
Please indicate whether you’d like to stay for lunch in the carvery restaurant and if you have special dietary requirements, we’d appreciate it if you would include details.
