Expressions of interest from JC Visual Art teachers regarding creating CBA1 student examples of work

Dear Visual Art teacher,

NCCA are looking for expressions of interest from Junior Cycle Visual Art teachers who would be interested in generating/submitting examples of student work to support teaching and learning in this subject. This is the initial, but extremely important, part of the Quality Assurance (QA) process when selecting work to be published online at https://www.curriculumonline.ie/Junior-cycle/Junior-Cycle-Subjects/Visual-Art/Examples-of-Student-Work

NCCA are looking to identify as wide a range of examples of student work possible from CBA1. However, please note that NCCA will only be able to contact a small number of teachers for each set of examples. NCCA will provide all of the necessary paperwork (consent forms, etc.) for the work to be submitted.

The examples of student work form an important aspect at Junior Cycle and help to support teachers in arriving at the levels of achievement they award for student work, supporting judgements made at SLAR meetings and teaching and learning across the three years of Junior Cycle.

If you are interested in taking part in this important work, please complete this short survey:

The survey is open from Thursday 12th January until Thursday 25th January (at 5:00pm).
